FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 2004--Voiceglo (OTCBB:TGLO), a global, full-service Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications company, today announced a partnership with Neopets, Inc., owner and operator of http://www.neopets.com, the leading online global youth community, to provide its members with Voiceglo's innovative VoIP phone service.
Neopets will integrate GloPhone, Voiceglo's Web and PC-based phone into its site content, thereby permitting site users to sign up directly for the phone product on http://www.neopets.com. GloPhone enables users to make and receive calls via the Internet from anywhere in the world, and offers many of the same calling features currently available through regular landline and wireless phones, such as conference calling, call waiting, caller ID, voice mail, missed call notification and buddy lists.
The partnership is beneficial to both companies as Voiceglo can leverage Neopets global reach and more than 7 billion page views per month, while expanding Neopets online offerings by bringing cutting-edge voice over Internet technology to its users.
"Our agreement with Neopets brings us an extraordinary opportunity to build long-term brand awareness and usage of Voiceglo's GloPhone service," said Edward Cespedes, president, Voiceglo. "This partnership brings VoIP to the world's largest and fastest growing online youth communities. Neopets users represent an ideal audience for Voiceglo - they are smart, savvy, and clearly appreciate advanced technology."
Rik Kinney, executive vice president of Neopets commented, "We're delighted with this new arrangement with Voiceglo. Our company is very selective about our partners and we have tremendous respect for the company and its remarkable GloPhone product."
The long-term contract runs through 2006 and includes a unique form of advertising created by Neopets called Immersive Advertising(R).
