China Airlines orders five Airbus A380 jumbo jets

Online Stock Market Trading China Sourthern Airlines has ordered five Airbus A380 jumbo jets, marking the first commitment placed by a Chinese carrier for the recently unveiled largest airlcraft in the world.

Topping the global chart of new routes with the highest number of operations is the route between Shanghai Pudong International (PVG) and Wuhan (WUH) in China with 210 flights per week. Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, East Star Airlines, Juneyao Airlines and Shanghai Airlines. Regional rankings put Asia firmly ahead, with the top five busiest new routes shared between China and Thailand.

Airbus saw the deal as a significant breakthrough in the Chinese market.

400 services, jumbo once deliveries start in August. The airline is also adopting a new look for its %lying kangaroo% livery.

Journal Prime Rate Street Wall Airbus President and CEO Noel Forgeard said, "The A380 will effectively accommodate ever growing air travel demand in the dynamic Chinese market, and will be able to provide first-class services to 2008 Olympics in Beijing, 2010 World Expo in Shanghai and 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou."Including China Southern Airlines A380 order for five of the new jumbo jets, Airbus has sold 154 of its newest airplanes in 15 countries. The Airbus A380 jumbo jets can carry 550 passengers, making it ideal for long-haul flights. Though it also carries the heftiest price tag of any plane ever built and requires long runways as well which limits its capacity to land at many airports that are not equiped to handle jumbo jets.
