Stock Investing Course (AXcess News) New York - We are determined to
diet and
exercise in 2006, just as we were
last year, and all of the preceding years. But here is a novel and
worthy New Year's resolution. Imagine what tiny unsuccessful
companies might achieve if the time and resources devoted to
promoting their stock were instead dedicated to building a
successful business. That noble goal may be even further out of
reach than losing all of that holiday weight. Pumping shares is
just too profitable at least for the people who are dumping their
stock.
the walled Old City, containing most of the sights; the predominantly Arab East Jerusalem; and the rapidly expanding new city, known as West Jerusalem. Temple Mount rises over the Old City and the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) below is a popular place for Jewish worship. Part of the city also lies in the Palestinian territories.
Stock Market Game Promoters are starting the New Year in much the same way as they
concluded 2005 praising an obscure company called Vinoble, Inc.
(OTCBB: VNBL). Two days into the New Year, with markets closed, one
promoter damned Vinoble with faint praise, calling the Company "our
Best winner for the beginning of the year." That same promoter
claimed that a "massive marketing campaign" was likely to move
Vinoble stock from 4 cents a share to 9 cents a share in the short
term and 20 cents a share in the long term.
Later that year, 5 Adventures, Inc., adding portaledges and other big wall gear to its collection of outdoor equipment.
Stock Investing Game Any imminent surge in Vinoble's stock price is more likely to be
the result of aggressive marketing than marked achievement. As we
pointed out on October 23, 2005, Vinoble has bounced from one
business to another without success. The Company's failures are
well-documented; its balance sheet is unimpressive. As of September
30, 2005, Vinoble was out of money.
Anonymous, Bellingham, Washington November 16, 2007 As my 5 year old grandson recently reached 40 pounds, we knew we needed to get him a new car seat.
Journal Prime Rate Street Wall What is the possible appeal of this struggling company? When all
else fails, promoters wrap themselves in the flag or the economy.
Here they have done both, suggesting that Vinoble is poised to
profit from the war on terror as well as rising oil and gold
prices.
The best thing you can say about this years crop of Inc. 500 entrepreneurs is that they didn't buy into the hype, said Inc. chief John Koten. When people were practically giving away funding in the late 1990s, these companies didn't overextend, and when everyone hit the panic button a few years later, they stayed calm and seized opportunity.
Stock Market News That is the hype. The facts suggest that Vinoble's connection
with these three thriving industries is tenuous at best.
Stock Investing Basics The Company's "connection" to homeland defense appears to
revolve around a vague plan to develop Radio Frequency
Identification (RFID) technology that can be used to track people,
products and resources. There is no indication in the Company's
public filings that Vinoble owns, has the rights to, or is in the
process of developing, such technology.
Stock Investing Software Vinoble's ability to profit from rising gold prices remains a
matter of conjecture. On October 10, 2005, the Company agreed to
pay $397,000 in cash and stock for controlling interest in mining
claims located on the Hazard Lake Property in Ontario, Canada. So
far, the sellers have received $67,000 in cash and 2 million shares
of Vinoble common stock. What are the claims worth? The Company
plans to develop a program to determine whether there is gold on
the property, but shareholders could remain in the dark for awhile
since weather conditions limit exploration to the months of June
through October.
Stock Market Trading The oil business represents Vinoble's latest effort to jump into
a thriving industry. In November 2005, the Company agreed to pay
$15,000 and 2 million shares of common stock in exchange for a 5%
minority interest in an "oil prospect property" called the Clovelly
Project in LaFourche Parish, Louisiana. The Company claims that the
property is due to go into production in December 2005 and will
provide an opportunity to test RFID
applications. There is no
indication that the property is yielding marketable oil, and no
independent evaluation of Vinoble's 5% interest.
Stock Investing For Dummy The fate and value of the Company's recent agreements remains
uncertain. As we noted in our earlier report, previous plans and
agreements have consistently failed to yield profits. To most
observers this would not sound like the formula for the "best
winner of the new year," even for the first two days of the New
Year. Logic suggests that someone stands to profit if investors
succumb to the promotional ploy. But whom?
Stock Market Crash There are a number of likely candidates individuals and entities
who hold millions of shares of Vinoble stock.
Stock Investing Tip As noted above, Vinoble issued an aggregate of 4 million Vinoble
shares in connection with its latest gold and oil and gas
"acquisitions." The holders of those shares could benefit from a
lively market for Vinoble stock. So might GarcyCo Capital Corp., a
company that partnered with Vinoble in late 2004. In September
2004, the Company entered into an agreement (Stock Purchase
Agreement) to sell shares to GarcyCo at a deep discount from market
prices. As of November 21, 2005, GarcyCo had purchased 3,271,536
shares of Vinoble stock for $216,905.
Stock Market Chart A second deal, in December 2004, effectively transferred control
of Vinoble to GarcyCo. As part of that transaction, GarcyCo
received shares of Vinoble preferred stock that could, at the
option of GarcyCo, be converted into more than 50% of Vinoble's
outstanding common shares. Vinoble issued an additional 12.5
million shares of common stock to GarcyCo. to be used in connection
with future acquisitions. 2 million of those shares were used to
pay for the Hazard Lake claims.
Online Stock Investing More shares of Vinoble have been floating around. Between
September 30, 2005 and November 14, 2005, the Company issued over
14 million shares of common stock "for services" and under the
Stock Purchase Agreement with GarcyCo.
Stock Market Crash Of Promoters have been saying that Vinoble has an "impressive
product at the right time" but the facts do not suggest that
Vinoble has any product at this time. Who has been paying the
promoters to spread misleading reports; one tout admits that it was
paid $10,000 for its efforts. We ask again, who stands to profit
when the general public loses?
