Cloudmark Announces Effort to Help Microsoft and Bill Gates Achieve Anti-Spam Promise

Cloudmark Backs Goal to Eliminate Spam by 2006; Delivers New Technology to Help Realize

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 17, 2004--Cloudmark(TM) Inc., the company that has invented the immune system for email, today announced at the Email Technology Conference (ETC) its efforts to help Microsoft's Bill Gates fulfill his promise to eliminate spam. On January 23, 2004 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Gates called for the total elimination of spam - claiming that Microsoft had the 'magic solution' to reach that goal in two years. Today, Cloudmark CEO, Karl Jacob, placed a stake in the ground with newly introduced Cloudmark Immunity, a solution that enables companies to stop 100 percent of spam with zero false positives, and took leadership for the charge to eliminate spam.
