This is the first full financial quarter since the Company's May 6, 2004 acquisition of Interactive Search Holdings ("ISH").
Revenues for the quarter ended September 30, 2004 were $75.7 million. These third quarter results represent 178% percent growth over revenues of $27.2 million for the comparable year-ago quarter.

Stamps.com Reports Third Quarter 2003 Financial Results Revenue Up 32% Year over Year; Customer Acquisition Momentum Builds SANTA MONICA, October 29, Stamps.com™ ( STMP) today announced financial results for the third fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2003. Third quarter revenue was up 32% versus the same quarter last year, and up 7% versus the second fiscal quarter of 2003. In addition, the company reported an increase in customer acquisition during the third quarter, particularly with higher value Power Plan customers.

Stamps. End 2000 Financial Results Company reports 26 percent growth in revenue over third quarter, with positive gross margin and continued focus on achieving profitability SANTA MONICA, Calif. February 22, Stamps.com™ ( STMP), today announced that revenue in the fourth quarter of year 2000 was $5.3 million, an increase of 26 percent over the third quarter of year 2000, while total revenue for fiscal year 2000 was $15.2 million.

Stock Market Game Pro forma income from continuing operations for the third quarter was $17.6 million, or $0.25 per share. For the comparable year-ago quarter, Ask Jeeves' pro forma income from continuing operations was $5.1 million, or $0.09 per share. These pro forma results should be evaluated in light of the Company's financial results prepared in accordance with GAAP. Under GAAP, Ask Jeeves' income from continuing operations for the third quarter of 2004 was $10.7 million, or $0.15 per share. This compares to income from continuing operations on a GAAP basis of $3.8 million, or $0.07 per share, for the comparable year-ago quarter. Cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities totaled $89.5 million on September 30, 2004.

- ScanSoft, Inc. ( SSFT), a global leader of speech and imaging solutions, month fiscal year ended September 30, 2004. ScanSoft reported third quarter 2004 revenue of $42.3 million, a 29 percent increase over third quarter 2003 revenue of $32.9 million. On a GAAP basis, ScanSoft recognized a third quarter 2004 net loss of $5.9 million, or $0.06 per basic share, compared with a net loss of $3.7 million, or $0.04 per basic share, in the third quarter of 2003.

Ask Jeeves' pro forma results are calculated by adjusting GAAP income from continuing operations to exclude the effects of amortization of other assets and the other items detailed in the accompanying table. First quarter revenue was an all time quarterly high of $7.6 million, up 66% versus the first quarter of 2003 and up 19% versus the fourth quarter of 2003.
