Journal Prime Rate Street Wall June 6, 2005 (AXcess News) Seattle - China-based Lenovo Group
Ltd (HKSE: 0992), that bought the laptop computer division of IBM,
released its latest tablet pc Monday called the ThinkPad X41 that
runs on Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) tablet PC version of
Windows.Microsoft believes that Lenovo's ThinkPad X41 will help
broaden the market for
business users of tablet PCs.
Weighing in at 3.5 pounds the ThinkPad tablet PC is the lightest
on the market, behind competitors Hewlett Packard and Fujitsu
who also offer top brand tablet PCs. The ThinkPad tablet PC is
also very thin, measuring only 1.14 inches thick, which when
combined with Microsoft's computing power the Seattle-based
software maker may be right.

making it the third largest computer manufacturer in the world.
Stock Investing Basics Microsoft believes that the combination of features their tablet
PC software providers along with Lenovo's hardware will attract
more
business users in the enterprise
segment.
Stock Investing Software Tablet PCs can be operated with a keyboard or a pen that
replaces both the keyboard and mouse. The limitations of market
acceptance have been due to storage capacity, software and hardware
durability. Lenovo's ThinkPad X41 may be able to draw more
attention than any tablet PC before, but no one's said how they're
going to market them across Europe and North America. Nor what the
suggested price range would be. More to come... AXcess News will be
