The Dow's Up, But My Wallet's Down

Online Stock Market Trading By Alan Fein - contributing columnist

A Pebble Wall Water Fountain is an amazingly unique, stunning alternative to the traditional hand crafted copper wall fountains with slate. Each Pebble Wall Water Fountain is framed in copper and has a panel set into it that is made of beautiful faux Pebbles. The water flows down the wall of pebbles, making beautiful, soothing waterfall sounds. Each wall fountain comes with a durable clear powder coat finish on the copper.

Stock Investing Course With Friday's triple witching hour barely a blip on the Dow, the cause I suspect is foreign investors seeking cheap dollars, that's why my Wallet's down.Visit our AXcess News Forum and add your comments on this story. Customer Rating Based on 19 votes Customer Reviews Andy Finn I went for this just to hang my kent badger brush upside down. Its basic but the brush fits and its balanced and has the options to screw into the wall etc or stick to the wall with a pad on its back. Fair price for the product and lets you spend your money on other things instead. If you need it functional then its for you.

A Wall Waterfall will add a new sense of style to your home or office. These are absolutely beautiful hand crafted wall mounted waterfalls and indoor waterfalls with lightweight slate panels. All of these wall waterfalls are available in Lightweight Slate. The water flows down the slate, making beautiful, soothing waterfall sounds.

Stock Investing Game The Dow moved to a record high last week and managed to hold that position for four straight days in a row. Wow! Ain't that something! Now normally, that wouldn't excite me, except that Friday was triple witching hour. For those of you who don't know what "triple witching hour" means, here's a brief description, according to InvestorWords.com: The final hour of the stock market trading session on the third Friday of March, June, September, and December, when option contracts and futures contracts expire on market indexes used by program traders. The simultaneous expirations often set off heavy trading of options, futures and the underlying stocks, which can cause large fluctuations in the value of their underlying stocks.

Enjoy looking for gifts amongst the stalls of the fantastic Christmas market, take a walk down the Getreidegasse shopping street, or relax with a warming Glühwein.

Journal Prime Rate Street Wall Note - Investorwords.com definition says. "can cause large fluctuations". Do you see any "large fluctuations" in the chart? By the way, a fourty point swing in a day is not large and by triple witching hour standards, its more like the red line; flat.

In these mountains, it is possible to hike to an isolated waterfall in the afternoon, then spend the evening strolling down Main Street.

Stock Market News Now that you've all had a lesson in economics, lets get to the meat of the matter; my wallet. Some of you may have seen in the news (even on AXcess News a few times) that the dollar's worth a whole lot less than it use to be. As evidence of this, Canadians are coming down in bus loads to buy anything and everything because for the first time in a decade their money is worth more, that and they speak our language. Of course the same can be said for the British, only they have to fly over and as everyone knows flying into America is dangerous. Especially if you travel with fingernail clippers, which if you were British, is a must have when traveling abroad.

Stock Investing Basics The British Sterling is up against the dollar at a five year high, the Euro, which American's think is a new McDonalds happy meal, is also worth more than a buck. Incidentally, did you know how the dollar became known to be called a "buck"? In the old days, and don't ask me exactly when that was, indians (we're talking American indians here) would go into trading posts to trade deer skins for what ever they thought they needed from a trading post (its rumored that McDonalds was born of the concept of trading posts) and would receive one dollar's worth of goods. So from that the dollar started to be called a buck.

Stock Investing Software The Yen is up, everything is up and the dollar is down. Everybody's happy but me. My wallets getting thinner all the time and so when I see the Dow lay a track like a flat line on a heart monitor I begin to think I'm done for. And on triple witching hour yet! Now there's an "oh wow!" if ever there was one!

Stock Market Trading So why did the Dow stay flat? Cheap money, that's why. If you lived in some far off country no one ever visits, like Canada for instance, you might take this as a buying opportunity and invest in our market. Which is just what I suspect has happened. Foreign cash is pouring in and buying up everything like it was the day after Thanksgiving when stores start offering things so cheap, Vinny and the boys, who typically sell goods out of the back of their cars, had to close down for the day.The Bush administration of course as well as my hero, Mr. Greenspan, are all going to take credit for the up and coming boom in our economy as foreign orders come pouring in throughout the first quarter of 2004. Hey, it's an election year you know. Politicians always take credit for anything that even hints at the slightest improvement in the economy, so I see no reason why 2004 should be any different. Right?

Stock Investing For Dummy Many Wall Street pundits will argue (Pundits argue a lot, don't they?) that the dollar's correction is way overdue. And for the most part, I agree.

Stock Market Crash But if some of you remember it wasn't that long ago that the five largest nations of the world were buying the buck to prop up its value. But now their dumping the dollar in favor of the euro, yen, sterling, mark or franc. You name it, they're buying it and the dollar just keeps on dropping and dropping.

Stock Investing Tip The Democrats will have a field day with that, eh? Bush Bucks, get yours now, one dollar buys you eighty cents! But in England it'll buy you even less!

Stock Market Chart That says a lot for exporting American goods. Goods that otherwise cost a lot are now far less. Imagine living in London and waiting to get that new Dell laptop. Now you can go online, order it in the states and save over 10%. Think that makes Dell happy? Think their going to sell more laptops? I'm not endorsing Dell's cheap-butted equipment here, just using them as an example because I can spell Dell and it rhymes well, can't you tell? Should you sell Dell if you own the stock? Can't tell, wait a spell, see what happens, then sell Dell. (this is not meant as investment advise. No, really!)Its going to be an interesting year, 2004.Enjoy!
